Mellow notes of seasoned cedar timber, clean field straw, and refined leather coat the tongue. The early retrohale is smooth, carrying zero sharp pepper bite and a highly elegant room note.
Second Third: Moving into the main belly of the massive barrel, the blend begins to develop its signature complexity as the smoke grows noticeably warmer and oilier. An unctuous, buttery layer of fresh honeycomb and sweet black licorice comes to the center, beautifully balancing the core notes of oak wood.
Final Third: The conclusion scales up gently in flavor focus, grounding itself in a deeply satisfying, entirely balanced medium body. Bold traits of roasted almonds, dark baker's cocoa dust, and a closing wave of soft baking spices dominate the palate, finishing long, rich, and remarkably clean.
