The Flor de Selva Clásica Robusto is a highly refined premium masterpiece that stands as a foundational vitola within Maya Selva's celebrated original core portfolio. Launched in the mid-1990s, the Clásica collection gained immediate global renown for changing the perception of Central American tobacco, proving that the unique terroir of Honduras could produce incredibly elegant, nuanced, and creamy profiles rather than just rustic, heavy powerhouses.

First Third: The cigar opens with a remarkably clean and smooth introduction, coating the palate in sweet cream, light cedar wood, and subtle notes of fresh hay. The retrohale is exceptionally gentle, revealing a faint touch of white pepper and a delicate floral quality.

Second Third: Moving into the main barrel of the robusto, the profile turns noticeably more buttery and rich. Dominant characteristics of roasted cashews, warm baking pastry, and a touch of light leather take the lead, maintaining an incredibly smooth mouthfeel without any sharp or bitter edges.

Final Third: The conclusion scales up slightly in depth while remaining firmly within a comfortable mild-to-medium presence. Notes of dry oak, crisp mineral earth, and a delicate coffee-with-cream attribute harmonize beautifully, finishing long, crisp, and exceptionally clean.
