Intemperance Volstead 1920 George Remus Robusto Extra Box of 24 Cigars
The Volstead 1920 is a tribute to the Prohibition era, named after the act that banned alcohol and the notorious bootlegger George Remus. It features a unique Ecuador Sumatra hybrid wrapper over a Mexican San Andrés binder, creating a profile that is notably darker and more robust than previous Intemperance releases. This blend is crafted at the NicaSueño factory, ensuring the impeccable construction and high tobacco density that Roma Craft fans expect. It is a complex, medium-to-full-bodied smoke that offers a sophisticated balance of earthy, spicy, and sweet flavors.

The profile is complex and gritty, showcasing the earthy characteristics of the San Andrés binder against the spice of the Sumatra leaf.
First Third: The opening is punchy with notes of black pepper, damp earth, and a distinct herbal spice.
Second Third: A dark sweetness emerges, reminiscent of molasses and roasted coffee, balanced by a touch of cinnamon.
Final Third: The finish is heavy and savory, leaving lingering notes of leather, charred oak, and a rich mineral saltiness.
