Aj Fernandez
AJ Fernandez Amar Toro Single Cigar
The Amar by AJ Fernandez Toro showcases master blender Abdel Fernandez's signature approach to rich, balanced Nicaraguan cigars. Draped in a dark Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over aged Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos, this 6x56 Toro delivers a harmonious medium-to-full profile. It seamlessly combines notes of cedar, espresso, black pepper, and subtle citrus sweetness without harshness. It pairs exceptionally well with a double espresso, a high-rye bourbon, or an aged dark rum.

This is not a "boring" Connecticut; it features the signature AJ Fernandez "zing" balanced by a buttery smooth texture.
First Third: The narrow foot provides an immediate concentration of white pepper and cedar. As the burn line widens, it opens up into a creamy profile of cashews and freshly baked bread.
Second Third: The influence of the Cameroon binder becomes evident, adding a unique baking spice sweetness (nutmeg and cinnamon). The core is defined by a buttery mouthfeel and notes of sweet hay.
Final Third: Unlike many Connecticut cigars that become bitter at the end, the Enclave remains clean. The flavor deepens into light leather, roasted nuts, and a lingering honey sweetness on the finish.
