First Third: The smoke opens with an incredibly aristocratic, silky delivery that reflects years of careful stabilization. The palate is coated in delicate notes of sweet cedar timber, toasted wafers, and a faint floral honey character. The retrohale is completely rounded, carrying zero sharp pepper bite.
Second Third: Moving into the main section of the barrel, a rich, buttery creaminess comes to the forefront. Dominant characteristics of warm roasted almonds, light café au lait, and a highly polished vintage leather take center stage, presenting a pristine, clean mouthfeel with immense flavor depth.
Final Third: The conclusion scales up gently in focus as the smoke concentrates toward the head. Sublime layers of dry oak wood, dark cocoa powder, and a closing wave of soft baking spice (nutmeg and light cinnamon) harmonize beautifully, finishing incredibly clean and leaving an elegant room note.
