Aj Fernandez
New World Dorado Figurado Single Cigar
The AJ Fernandez New World Dorado Figurado is a visually striking cigar. It features a soft box-press and a shimmering, oily Habano Sun Grown wrapper that is a rich mocha color. The banding is particularly opulent, utilizing a bright yellow and gold palette to reflect the "Dorado" (golden) theme, finished with a gold ribbon at the foot.
Presented in a Box of 10, this is a premium, estate-driven release aimed at seasoned aficionados who appreciate high-complexity, full-bodied puros. It is a dense, aromatic smoke that captures the "essence" of a single piece of land. It pairs exceptionally well with high-proof Bourbon, dark Rum, or a rich, citrus-forward IPA.

The Dorado is prized for its "golden" profile, which balances intense Nicaraguan earth with a distinctive citrus and cream brightness.
First Third: The tapered start provides an immediate concentration of white pepper and earth. As the burn line widens, notes of orange peel and lemon curd emerge—a signature characteristic of the Dorado farm’s soil.
Second Third: The profile becomes "chewy" and savory. You will encounter layers of caramel, toasted nuts, and graham cracker. The sweetness is balanced by a robust cedar and a hint of charred meat.
Final Third: The strength builds significantly. The citrus notes fade into dark chocolate, espresso, and leather. The retrohale remains "AJ-strong" with a bold, lingering spice that stays clean on the palate without becoming harsh.
