The Comandante is the flagship Robusto of "The Conqueror" line (the second chapter in the ADVentura saga). This blend is a showcase of Henderson Ventura’s ability to refine the naturally spicy Habano 2000 seed through extensive aging.
First Third: Opens with a vibrant cedar and white pepper zing. There is an immediate "clean" feeling on the palate.
Second Third: The spice mellows into a salted caramel sweetness. Notes of roasted coffee and a hint of dried fruit emerge.
Final Third: The woodiness deepens into a dark oak profile with a lingering nutty finish.
