Crowned Heads
Four Kicks Mule Kick Lim. Ed. 2023 Box of 10 Cigars
Crafted under the supervision of Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, the Four Kicks Mule Kick 2023 is designed for the smoker who enjoys a "bold but balanced" profile. The "Mule Kick" name refers to the increased strength and flavor concentration compared to the standard Four Kicks line.
Visually, the 2023 LE is stunning, with a reddish-brown hue and a slight oily sheen. It is a limited production run, making it a collector's item for fans of Crowned Heads. It pairs exceptionally well with a barrel-proof bourbon or a sharp, ginger-forward ginger ale to cut through the spice.

The 2023 Sumatra wrapper adds a unique spicy-sweet dynamic to the Nicaraguan fillers.
First Third: Starts with an immediate punch of black pepper and cinnamon. Beneath the spice, there is a core of rich earth and a slight mineral note.
Second Third: The profile transitions into a smoother, creamier territory. Notes of dark roasted coffee, leather, and a distinctive cedar sweetness become dominant.
Final Third: The finish is robust. The spice returns but is balanced by dark chocolate and a dry, toasted nut flavor that lingers on the palate.
