Plasencia Cigars, the leading producer of premium cigars and the largest producer of tobacco in Central America, was awarded 1st place in a consumer cigar blind tasting held by Manuel’s, one of the finest and most renowned cigar shops in Zürich, Switzerland. The award was conferred for its Alma del Campo Tribu cigar, one of the company's first brand name cigars to be introduced to the market.

Plasencias goal is to use the best leaves of aged tobacco exclusively in their cigars leaving them in the hands of the best collaborators in the fields and artists of the factories.

DOMINIQUE SELECCION 2026

The Plasencia Orchant Seleccion & Dominique Seleccion was born from the volcanic soil of Nicaragua. The volcanic Ometepe tobaccos in the binder and filler are instantly evident on the palate, producing earth, pepper, & charred wood notes that are balanced by the sweetness of the cigar’s Nicaraguan Jalapa wrapper

Mitchell Orchant & Dominique Gyselinck are excited to release the next assortment of Plasencia cigars exclusively to C.Gars Ltd in the UK market including the;

- Placencia Orchant Seleccion 2026 Exclusive Toro 6” x 52

The Dominique Lancero is designed for the "flavor-first" smoker, offering a sharp, defined profile with rapid transitions.

  • First Third: Opens with a vibrant red pepper spice and a distinct dark cocoa bitterness. The aroma is heavy on cedar and toasted nuts.

  • Second Third: The spice settles into a rich, savory core. Notes of leather, espresso, and a subtle black cherry sweetness emerge. The narrow gauge concentrates these flavors, making them feel "thicker" on the palate.

  • Final Third: The finish is intense and warm. Expect deep earthy notes, charred oak, and a lingering molasses sweetness that balances the Nicaraguan strength.
