Kristoff
Original Maduro Lancero Box of 20 Cigars
The Kristoff Original Maduro Lancero is a standout for enthusiasts who appreciate a "rustic-luxe" aesthetic combined with old-world construction. This cigar is easily identified by its signature pigtail cap and uncut (shaggy) foot, a design choice that allows the smoker to taste the oily Brazilian Maduro wrapper by itself for the first few puffs. Inside, the blend uses double and triple-fermented Cuban-seed tobaccos that have been bunched using the traditional entubar technique, ensuring a perfect draw and dense smoke production. Packaged in Kristoff’s iconic rough-hewn cedar boxes and nestled in a bed of loose tobacco leaves, this Lancero offers a sophisticated, medium-bodied experience that balances the spicy character of Nicaraguan filler with the smooth, chocolatey sweetness of its dark wrapper.

The profile is rich and earthy, leaning into the natural sweetness of the Brazilian leaf without overpowering the palate.
First Third: The opening is marked by a rustic earthiness, cedar, and a touch of black pepper, aided by the uncut foot which gives a pure taste of the wrapper at the start.
Second Third: The flavors transition into a creamy core of coffee beans, dark cocoa, and toasted almonds.
Final Third: The finish is smooth and slightly sweet, with lingering notes of molasses, licorice, and a warm, toasty aroma.
