The "Krumme" (German for "crooked") is a traditional European Culebra consisting of three distinct cigars hand-braided together while wet and tied with string. Originally designed in the 19th century to allow factory rollers to identify their daily allotment of cigars, this dry-cured machine-made format from Villiger does not require humidification. Smokers gently untie the braid to smoke one crooked strand at a time. It pairs exceptionally well with a dark pilsner, rye whiskey, or a traditional black coffee.

First Third: The cigar opens with an exceptionally clean, soft, and gentle greeting. Light notes of sweet cedar timber, toasted grains, and a mild floral cleanliness instantly coat the tongue. The early retrohale is completely rounded, carrying an airy fragrance with zero sharp pepper or throat irritation.

Second Third: Moving into the main body of the long barrel, a velvety, creamy texture dominates the palate. The profile introduces subtle layers of roasted almonds, warm baking spices, and a delicate touch of sweet cream that beautifully supports the mild wood backbone.

Final Third: The conclusion preserves its mellow, highly accessible character right down to the cap without over-intensifying. Brief accents of dry oak wood, light leather, and a faint hint of black tea leave a clean, brief, and highly refreshing finish.
