La Flor Dominicana
Reserva Especial Robusto Box Of 24 Cigars
The Reserva Espical was La Flor Dominicana's sophomore release and the result of the most important decision made within the company's history, the purchase of their own farm from which to grown their own tobacco. The cigar boom of the 90s made it increasingly difficult for a small company to acquire the robust tobaccos they were looking for; most options available to them were simply leftovers that the larger and more established brands did not buy.
The only option La Flor Dominicana had was to grow their own tobacco, so they did! This allowed them to completely change the style of cigar from the traditionally mild flavour profile that the Dominican Republic was known for to cigars like the Reserva Especial, Ligero, Double Ligero, and various other blends known for their extraordinary character, power and flavour.

The Reserva Especial features an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper adorned around fillers and binder grown on their farm. The blend itself is characterised by a powerful elegance, the medium bodied smoke is smooth but it's flavours are abundant and diverse, featuring a myriad of spices, wood, nuts and earth to keep the experienced palate entertained from start to finish.
