Showcasing an oily, naturally dark Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper over robust Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos, the Nub Maduro 460 delivers full-flavored richness in a compact format. The dark Brazilian wrapper leaf introduces a distinctive natural sweetness that balances the earthy power of Oliva’s Nicaraguan core. Offered as an individual stick, it pairs exceptionally well with a dark stout beer, aged bourbon, or a rich espresso.
The unlit stick offers inviting aromas of dark cocoa, rich earth, espresso beans, and sweet leather. Lighting up delivers immediate opening flavors of dark chocolate, charred oak, and a warm black pepper blast on the retrohale. As the burn moves through the second half, the Brazilian wrapper opens up with rich layers of roasted coffee, molasses, dark cherry sweetness, and dry timber. The final third finishes smooth and robust, leaving lingering impressions of dark cocoa nibs, black espresso, and sweet spice on the palate.
